In the year 2005, the eventing professional decided to go down an innovative path in marketing horses, together with Iris Schless, he developed the concept for the Top-Event-Horse-Auction, a unique auction, purely for eventing horses. He created, for both breeders and owners of part-thoroughbred horses a worldwide marketing platform which had never existed before. Meanwhile horses which have been sold via the auctions are performing at show grounds in Germany, Europe, the USA and Australia. Not only are ambitious junior and amateur riders successful but also Olympic riders have found success in the saddles of their Top Eventers.
In 2010 a further marketing platform was introduced in the form of the Top-Eventers-Sales Days at Elmar Lesch’s riding facility in Bavendorf. During the open Sales Days the prices for the horses are not fixed by auction they are negotiated between buyer and seller.
